TBFF IN THE COMMUNITY AJAX - BLACK VISIONARIES, FROM IMAGINATION TO IMPACT

The Toronto Black Film Festival (TBFF), DRABPE, and The Town of Ajax come together to present TBFF in the Community: Black Visionaries – From Imagination to Impact, a community-centred film and cultural engagement experience celebrating Black creativity, storytelling, and excellence.

Designed to bring residents together, this event features curated film screenings, art, and engaging discussions that highlight Black creativity, leadership, and cultural expression. Audiences will explore how imagination, innovation, and resilience drive cultural and social impact, while creating space for connection, inspiration, and shared understanding across the community.

Together, TBFF, DRABPE, and The Town of Ajax affirm the importance of community-driven cultural programming that celebrates Black voices, fosters meaningful dialogue, and strengthens local connections—using film as a powerful tool for representation, inspiration, and collective celebration.
