Ladane is an Ottawa-based poet, comedian/writer. She firmly believes in the power of telling authentic stories in all forms to help cultivate a more resilient, kinder, and most importantly fairer society. She strongly believes that a city without a vibrant art scene is devoid of a soul. We do not have to move mega cities to create, we just need to create local communities and institutions that can nurture creativity. And finally, we need to keep working towards an equitable space for all artists to thrive.

Fonna Seidu, Producer
Fonna Seidu burst onto the film industry in 2018 and since then, worked on 60+ projects including CSA award-winning BEING BLACK IN TORONTO and CBC Gem’s VIRGINS!. As a Black Queer producer, Fonna champions narrative projects with compelling storylines and niche audiences.
Sandro Silva, Co-Founder, Dona Ana Films & Multimedia
Sandro Silva is a Black Canadian, with dual Brazilian & Canadian citizenship. Co-founder of Dona Ana Films & Multimedia, he produced international award-winning documentaries and acted as a local producer for the Brazilian components of international productions. Before working in the arts, Sandro worked as a copyright lawyer in São Paulo.
Teresa Ho, Producer
With over 25 years of industry experience in production finance and management, including more than 10 years as a Producer in Canadian Television, Teresa M. Ho is an Emmy and Canadian Screen Award-nominated Producer who continues to broaden her impact across all markets and platforms. Recently, she launched a 9-episode Rom-Com Short-form Series titled 'Hello (Again)' on CBC Gem, created by Simu Liu & Nathalie Younglai, with the support of CBC Gem, Bell Fund, CMF, and Ontario Creates. Her previous TV credits include the upcoming Lionsgate series 'GRAY,' directed by Ruba Nadda and starring Patricia Clarkson, four seasons of CBC’s 'Frankie Drake Mysteries,' and two seasons of Corus and Peacock’s 'Departure.' She also managed the hit Netflix series 'Anne with an E' and multiple units on NBC Universal’s reboot TV series 'Heroes Reborn’.
Her expertise in business and finance brings a practical tone to the creative voices while producing quality programming. Teresa is currently in development on two feature films: '15 Kinds of Casual Sex,' which was selected for the WIFT-T NBC-Universal Development Incubator, National Screen Institute – EAVE on Demand Access Program, and awarded development funds from the Harold Greenburg Fund and Telefilm; and 'Wild Willie' with writer Nathalie Younglai, which received financing through the Telefilm development stream for Racialized Persons. As the entertainment business continues to change and evolve, Teresa has adapted and shifted her focus from supporting other content creators to developing and producing screen-based projects under her own banner, 100 Dragons.
Virinderpaul Singh, Production Manager & Line producer
Virinderpaul Singh has been line-producing for several years and directed Lohri (2022), a family drama exploring gender roles in a traditional Punjabi household. He's produced multiple short films and documentaries, which has culminated in producing a feature film called Jersey Boy in 2023.
