GOODNIGHT, MY LOVE

‘Goodnight, My Love’

is the story of Ruby and Alvin, a young woman and young man who decided to get married in 1971. They laughed and danced together and always kissed each other goodnight. Twenty years pass and things aren’t so ‘happily ever after.’ Communication is fizzling and intentions are falling flat, and there aren’t any goodnight kisses. It looks as if their marriage is not going to make it. Somehow, they make it another 30 years to the end of their story. The laughter and dancing returned, as did the goodnight kisses. As they reflect on the highs and lows of what their love story looked like, in the end, all that matters is the love that endured.
