THE INCIDENT

Young Iona is engrossed in drawing at her grandmother, Sarah’s, home. She quickly eats her snack while her grandmother answers a phone call. She is lured to the jungle by her supernatural friend Marisol. While in the forest, Marisol abandons her and she finds skin hanging in the tree. She encounters a soucouyant, a Caribbean vampire, and is saved by her grandmother.
