ERACEING: A TALE OF A BLACK JOCKEY

Set in the early 1900s, Edwin, a once prominent black jockey turned alcoholic, struggles to find his way after racism and segregation forces him out of the horse racing industry. Amara, his wife, devises a well thought out yet risky plan to help her husband. When Jessie, her cousin, arrives earlier than scheduled, Amara is panicked. Edwin soon learns what was meant to help him, can't help him at all. Not willing to throw in the towel, Amara fights to see Edwin happy.
