Sunny’s Quest features first-person stories told by Black children from across the country.  Each episode showcases a different child and their unique perspective on their day-to-day hobbies, their talents, and heritage. This season's adventures include a 10-year-old Canadian Haitian gymnast and future Olympic hopeful, an 11-year-old half Jamaican, and part Indigenous boy who found his true passion for dance at a young age and dreams of being a professional hip hop dancer, and a 9-year-old boy of African Nova Scotian/ Guyanese and European Descent, who comes from a long line of advocates for racial equality, who is following in his family’s footsteps.
