Global Toronto is the Ontario Association of Broadcasters 2013 Community Service Award winner for Toronto Black Film Festival (Television Award). TBFF is honored and wishes to thank the Ontario Association of Broadcasters for this Award.

TBFF is very grateful for the tremendous support of the whole Shaw family and to the whole team at Global Toronto. Their support allows a festival like us to provide a great platform to creators who, otherwise, whould not have been seen or head. But above all, it affect the black communities in positive ways by giving them a sense of pride, accomplishment, validation and mostly, the pleasure of celebrating and sharing their heritage.

We are so honored to be partnering with Global Toronto and hope to continue to help build healthy, vibrant and inclusive communities where diversity is valued, fostered and celebrated.
