Blaze, a bachelor with super speed abilities, is determined to make a good impression on his first date with a beautiful woman he met online. The date is going well until he learns that a gunman has been reported inside his local grocery store downtown. He excuses himself from the table and dashes to the store on foot arriving just in time to disarm the gunman and evacuate the building before anyone gets hurt. After saving lives, he now has to get back to the restaurant and save his date.
