Music Performance: Simone Smithson and Anthony Marshall

KIMYA (pronounced “kee-MY-ah”) is a Caribbean Fusion Artist born and raised in Toronto, Canada, with Vincentian heritage. A Powerhouse Performer: her soulful vocals, honest delivery, and electrifying energy make KIMYA a standout Artist and storyteller. KIMYA holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Humber College in Toronto and spent several years as a Wedding/Corporate Vocalist. She shifted focus to individual artistry, releasing two singles to date and opening for the likes of Lila Iké and Brian McKight. Her talents extend to Songwriting, Dance, Acting, and Vocal & Performance Coaching. KIMYA has become sought-after internationally and has graced renowned stages in Toronto (Canada), London (UK) and throughout the Caribbean. Anthony ‘Chris’ Marshall hails from Linstead, Jamaica and has a unique vocal style that can’t go unnoticed. He is a seasoned singer in the church circle and is also the highlight of any karaoke night! He brings a delightful energy and vibe to the stage and puts a smile on every face with his melodies. An entertainer who is isn’t afraid to perform ‘outside of the box’, Anthony is full of surprises and will leave a crowd wanting more, every time.

Spoken Word Performance: Shahaddah Jack

Meet Shahaddah Jack, a 19-year-old bilingual spoken word poet, performer, human rights activist, and student of life from Tkaronto. Recently releasing her debut single "My Mother’s Daughter," she has graced 80+ stages, including the renowned history stage. Shahaddah, a proud graduate of the remix project, weaves her diverse cultural background into her powerful poetry, addressing human rights, the black experience, and the challenges of adolescence. Named BGC Canada’s 2022 National Youth of the Year and recognized as one of Streets of Toronto’s most inspirational women of 2022, Shahaddah invites you to explore her world through her debut book, "Underrated Royalty," available on Amazon.
