TBFF LIVE PERFORMANCE SERIES - Day 1

Music Live : ColinResponse

Toronto Pop-soul artist “ColinResponse” is the Global Ambassador for the Luxury Spirit Brand Moët-Hennessy;

This past July (2018) he received the honour of winning both Emerging Artist of the Year & Singer/Songwriter of the Year at the COCA Music Awards (Past winners include: Alessia Cara, Lights and Arkells).

After he released his debut self-titled EP October 2017 he began gaining attention in the United States and Internationally. Reminiscent of Bruno Mars and André 3000, this pop-soul phenom placed first in the industry-vetted, fan driven Hennessy Artistry's International Talent Quest after his "She Dances in the Rain" (from his debut EP) beat out over 2,000 applicants around the globe.

Spoken Word Artist: Gabrielle

"Gabrielle is a proud, black spoken word artist from Jamaica. Although ever-growing, her work has so far been a depiction of her own life experiences, as well as the lives of those who inspire her - involving mental health, black power, heartbreak, and self-love. Recognized for her multi-layered poems, Gabrielle began performing original pieces as early as 2017 and has since continued to pursue her passion for poetry into performing for Afro-fest and becoming a 2018 Toronto Poetry Slam team member. Together the team has made history as the second Canadian team ever to make it to semi-finals in the National Poetry Slam held within the States, and occupied their title as champions of the 2018 Canadian Festival of Spoken Word. Impressed yet? Well, she’s just getting started."
