In a desolate landscape where water is scarce, a family of three women survive with what they can. A wise grandmother, a pregnant warrior mother, and a little girl navigate the harsh realities of that world and within their relationships. To survive and gather food the warrior mother ventures herself on a forbidden secret world, her daughter wants to go with her…but she is not ready. As the moonrise approaches, its mysterious influence intertwines their relationships and ignites their dreams. The moon arises and a new force comes into the world but no one knows what future is there to come.
