Sock Puppets

With this super fun activity you can be really creative and design your own sock puppet friend using a variety of craft materials! We are sure you will find a one sided sock that you will take from “boring” to fun, unique and super cool! If you want to make your very own sock puppet here are the materials that you’ll need:

Materials/Equipment:

1 long sock, Piece of cardboard, 2 pom poms, 2 googly eyes, Yarn, Scissors, Felt piece, Fabric markers, Glue (hot glue gun, fabric glue), Buttons (optional), Gems/sequence (optional), Ribbon

Mason Jar Aquarium

Have you ever wanted a pet fish? Or perhaps your very own DIY aquarium without the hard work of caring for a real fish! Well we have the perfect craft idea for you! With your creative ideas you can make your very own aquarium designed inside of a simple mason jar! Here are some materials that you’ll need:

1 glass mason jar (size of your choice), Decorative gravel, small colored rocks or glass stones (gravel or small pebbled rocks work best!) Water, Blue food coloring, Glitter (optional), Plastic plants or flowers, Fishing line (string), Hot glue gun w/glue sticks (low temp glue gun recommended), Parchment paper, Permanent markers or pencil crayons , Sea shells (optional)
