Workshop Description:
Join Craftopia for three amazing craft activities: 

Salt Painting Designs 
Participants will learn to be creative and work with common household items and painting materials. Participants will explore paint mixing and color creation, while manipulating solid and liquid materials. 

Slime Creations
Participants will be able to scientifically explore chemistry related concepts by combining chemical materials to form “slime”.

Lava Lamp Designs 

Participants will explore and investigate the relationship between oil and water and how it relates to density. As well to observe chemical reactions. 

Materials/Equipment:

Salt Painting Designs 

• White (or clear) school glue
• Table salt
•  Watercolor paints (primary colors)
• Small or large canvas
• Paint brushes, or sponges 

Slime Creations

• White (or clear) school glue
• Borax soap
•  Water
• Measuring cup
• Small bowl or cup
• Food coloring (of your choice)
•  Stir stick
• Glitter sparkles
• Shaving cream 

Lava Lamp Designs

•  Mason Jar
•  Vegetable oil
• Food Coloring (of your choice)
• Vinegar
• Baking Soda
• Glitter sparkles (optional)
•  Measuring cup
