KOBÈNA AQUAA-HARRISON

Kobèna Aquaa-Harrison is a Ghanaian/Bermudian performer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. His eclectic sound, "Afrosonic jollof," blends jazz, rock, R&B, and dance music with African roots. A highly acclaimed international artist, Kobèna has received numerous awards, including Dora Mavor Moore, Chalmers Foundation, and TAMA awards. He leads the all-star Djungle Bouti Orchestra and has performed for diverse audiences, from presidents to preschoolers. Not a stranger to the Toronto Black Film Festival, Kobèna continues to make waves in the arts scene globally.

Jäjé is a multidisciplinary artist born in Trinidad and raised in the city of Toronto. As a professionally trained dancer, actor, singer and poet Jäjé has not only gone through Honey Jam, as well as having graced the stages of the Mod Club, El Mocambo, Phoenix Concert Theatre, Manifesto15 at the City View Drive-in and TIFF's Slaight Music Stage.
