In Salvador (Brazil), every year there is a big and traditional party for Senhor do Bonfim, where the faithful, tourists and revelers, pilgrimage to the famous church to tie ribbons and make requests. Two brothers, Pedro and Gabriel, heard their grandmother's stories and prayers to Senhor do Bonfim and decided to escape from home on the day of the party to venture into the crowd to try to ask for a football, since they grew up without a paternal figure. There they confront the narratives of his grandmother, who raises them together with his mother, with the current party, bringing questions about religiosity, syncretism, popular manifestation, and the importance of the family.
